Consider I’ve spent some time on my last post, I might as well share this one with the rest of the world as well.
I found this girl while procrastinating from thesis writing a month ago. This clip totally blew me away. This girl has such a presentation. If I am a talent scout, I would sign her right away and produce an album, regardless of if she wins this x-factor competition – which is what happened.
Simply put, this girl already possess the “star” quality. She’s confident on stage. She;s got the voice. She’s pretty – so boys would like her. She’s got attitude – so girls would love her. What else can you ask for!!
In X factor, she gave a fantastic performance during audition, but I found that none of her performances afterword can compare to her first one. Her final performance with Will I Am was simply horrible, mainly b/c of Will I Am. Through out the competition, she got very bad song selections. Why didn’t she pick some Lily Alen or Jessie J songs to cover; she would totally rock these songs. Seriously, song choice is so critical in these competitions.
She didn’t win the competition but still got signed and released a single, which is on top of the UK chart. Good song I may say, very catchy.
